Old becomes new

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Aunt Melissa gave Bethany this Snow White doll. It was love at first sight for Bethany. She loves that the doll's eyes open and close. She has a velvet cape, a dress with hand sewn buttons, a slip, bloomers, and little black slippers.
The doll was made in 1975 and smelled like cigarette smoke. (No, Aunt Melissa doesn't smoke! She kinda sorta inherited it.) It needed to be washed but Bethany HAD to sleep with it last night. I had a hard time prying it from her today. I finally decided we would make it fun, so I let Bethany wash it.
Bethany loved washing the little clothes. She thought it was really fun. Her "new" doll is beautiful she says.
Just a few minutes ago she said, "I wish I had a prince doll to go with her. Then the prince could dance with her."

That's sweet! I'm really glad she loves the doll.
