Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
Joe hit a calf on his way to work awhile back. Yes, that is right a calf we do live in the country! Anyway, it busted out a headlight. Last week, Joseph was in the garage waiting to get in the car when he said, "Mommy, I can fix dat wight for you." "Oh, you can?! That would be good, Buddy. How are you gonna fix it?" I asked. "It just needs pwugged back up, I need my toowls. But I can fix dat wight." His confidence and desire to fix it made me very proud. I told him maybe Papaw could help him with it.
On his birthday he went to Papaw's and fixed our light! The boy knows his tools, it may have something to do with his papaw's 31 years in the tool making field. I hope Joseph grows up to be just like him, able to fix anything.
Joseph has reminded me several times now that he fixed "dat wight" on out car. I don't know who is more proud, him or me.
