One day with Mamma...PRICELESS

One thing is for certain and that is, our kids have the best Mamma ever. Today, she took them to her friends house that has this mini farm. Bethany and Joseph had a blast, especially Bethany, she is convinced the animals LOVED her.
They came home with fresh eggs they gathered and rock collections. Yippee, can't wait to find out what's scratched up next. I'll be steppin' on rocks in the house for weeks.
Bethany said all the other horses were jealous because she only rode the one horse, Bonnie. Oh, and the kitty cats liked her because she talked like them. I've been expecting this little line, "Mommy, can we get a horse?" Maybe, we're out of the woods on that!
I know it was such a great day for them. It is so fun to watch them learn, I get excited just looking at the pictures. They are conked out, and I know there must be some sweet dreaming going on in their little heads. Nothing like sleeping after a hard days work, uh play.

They can come down and share Riley's horse (sadly that's singular now) anytime!

They would love to ride Riley's horse.

The chicken pictures remind me of HOME on the Farm.
However, I don't ever remember looking at the chickens(like Bethany) so lovingly, as in pic. #4. I can relate more with Joseph in this picture.
We had such a good day. My grandchildren are amazing and lots of fun! They keep me smiling :)
Joseph loved to rub on the dogs ears. He said
"Mamma, they are soft." This boy needs a dog. One dats soft! (In a few years) They said you said they could have one. Was that a real promise??? or...

Guess it was just wishful thinking on their part. Or maybe it was just one of those times when you were distracted with something else and you just gave them an "U hu" I think all moms do that! Truth be known.
