Finders Keepers

This morning I got myself out of bed early, blog worthy all of itself, and went to a neighborhood yard sale. I love to yard sale when I find good bargains on things we need. If it is an unsuccessful trip, than I usually regret getting up early for the rest of the day. As will everyone else around me.
Getting a good find makes me really happy, I mean puts me in the greatest mood. Today, I've been in a extra cheerful mood and wanted to share my happy finds with you.

Hoover carpet cleaner, in great condition $179.00 on Amazon.com Paid $15.00
Brand new Jersey Knit twin sheet set. Paid $3.00

3/4 bag of Poly-fil brand new cost $2.99. Paid $0.50 Blog post about this buy coming soon.

Making my store bought, Made in China, $3.00 sheet set seem WAY overpriced...
Set of 2 vintage hand embroidered pillow cases with matching sheets. Excellent condition, bought for sentimental reasons and because I couldn't believe they were only $2.50.
Set of 2 vintage quilted potholders and this vintage tea apron. All for $1.50 in excellent condition, reminding me of my Grandma Ham. How pristine and delicate is this?
Makes me wish somethings never changed...
You tell me which was my greatest bargain, I can't decide. All are good in their own way. This was a great day. All the past yard sale deals like toys and kids clothes, pale compared to these last few items. They make me happy, very happy!!

Wow, I love it! So glad you had a good day and looks like you found some real treasures. If you weren't my daughter I might be jealous. Ha

I've already told Joe you can get my money worth out of the shampooer. Especially, since Joseph puked on your carpet!! You can borrow anytime.

I am hoping that the yard sales will start soon so my and baby can get the stroller out and do some bargain hunting.
