Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
During our Memorial Day hayride, Joseph and I took a walk down the railroad track at one of our stops. It's something I had wanted to do with him for some time. He loves trains, loves the steamies, Thomas lingo, and the diesels, but his favorite are the steamies. He loves the coal tenders.
As we were walking we found a piece of coal. He carried it in his pocket the rest of the day like it was a piece of gold. I am going to paint a clear coat on it so that it won't rub off anymore.
I love this little engineer hat wearing boy. I am so thankful for the blessing he is, for his Thomas compulsion, his long stories, the way he makes a car track and calls is a "Woopty-woop", his soft heart and his truthfulness. I love how through his eyes, everything is going to be alright. He doesn't sweat the small stuff and hardly cares about the big stuff. He lives in the moment and is always willing to share it.
