Finding myself in the ordinary

Happy Saturday Stalkers!

Where have I been you're all wondering, well I'd love to tell you I've been super busy sewing cute dresses for my girls, or on a short vacation getting some rest and relaxation, but it's nothing that grand. Life's just been filled with all the ordinary stuff.
I really don't have to tell you what that means, you do ordinary life at your house too. Cleaning oatmeal off the floor, {and pancakes, spaghetti, peanut butter sandwich crumbs and rice} bathing a child every morning because she takes her diaper off and pees all over herself, doing loads of dirty laundry {soiled sheets}, fixing breakfast, cleaning up breakfast, fixing lunch, cleaning up lunch, fixing supper, and cleaning up supper, only to collapse on the couch and have 3 children tell me they are hungry. I've been freshening up my kitchen drain with baking soda and vinegar, refereeing more imaginary fighting, and went on a Friday night date with Joe, to the grocery.I've been helping my children pick up their toys after they have yard sales.
And finding joy, that I have a daughter who thinks the life I live is so cool, she wants to live like me when she grows up.So, all this to say, I've been busy and didn't want to bore you all with my ordinary. Joe's going to a college football game today, bet ya can't guess which one!? My, sweet, kind, loving, I-don't know-how-I'd-live-without, thoughtful, caring, giving, mother, who watched my kids last night so that we could go on a date, to the grocery, is going to watch my kiddos again today. I am going to enjoy some me time, with my sister, and we are going to sew. I've got so many projects I'd love to tackle, I'm going to have a hard time choosing. I'll think of something.

Happy Weekend!
