Reduce, reuse, recycle

In school last week, the kids made these fun caterpillars out of egg cartons.
They're cal-ler-pillars if you're Bethany.
They're cate-piwwers, if you're Joseph
Who would have thought painting egg cartons could be so exciting? They loved make them.

After the little wormies paint had dried I stabbed two holes in the top to put the antenna's through. Joseph said, "Mommy, don't hurt my wittle fuzzy friend!"
Bethany told Joe that they "reduced, reused and recycled." She is such a slogan girl. Today I told them I wouldn't buy something for them because I was saving money and Bethany popped up and said, "Save money. Live better, Walmart!"

That is too funny that Bethany is full of slogans! A good reminder that little ones pick up on a LOT more than we think!

Those are cool. My daughter would love to make those. do you not have issues with the kids moving the newspaper around while they are crafting??? Bella moved so much that the paper never stayed, so I bought a flannel back vinyl table cloth for all her crafting at the table. Works amazing :o)
