Words that heal

Lamentations 3:20-26
I will remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I will call to mind and therefore have hope:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is his faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the one who seeks him;
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Though my soul be downcast and heavy,
though burdens seem too heavy to carry,
though lies of loneliness speak,
I have hope.

For I am loved by the Lord of great love,
He will not allow me to be destroyed or burned.

For His compassions never cease or falter,
He is sympathetic, with great faithfulness each new day.

It is good to have hope in Him,
to seek Him and wait for His faithful salvation.

I will say,
"He is my portion, the Lord is enough. His love is great, His faithfulness never fails."

I know it's hard but turning to God for encouragement is the only thing we can do isn't it? Funny, my devotion this morning referenced Lamentations 3:25-26! God is good and He will get you through this. PLEASE let us know if we can help any!
