In case you're wondering why we didn't send you a Christmas card

. . . it's not for the lack of trying.
I picked out the clothes, dressed the children, fixed their hair {while they squirmed} and put on their shoes, and socks.
I moved the couch and the love seat, opened the blinds to let in the light, and raked back the toys on the floor.
I was determined not to get my hopes up, thank goodness I didn't.

Bless their little hearts for trying they really did aim to please.
Bethany can break out one pose after another, some are pretty great and some are pretty
scary. Joseph can't keep his face nice, or his hands still. Jenna, there are no words to say what was going through her mind. She just wanted to be movin'.

The pigtails kept tickling Joseph's face
There was drama.
and tears.
Haven't you seen enough? I will spare you the rest. From our house to yours, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

So hysterical. I gave up getting a shot of the girls together for our card. I pick one shot of Zoe and one of Ana.

I totally would have put that last one on a card, though.

Miranda, I consider this to be your christmas card. Having three to capture like a hallmark card is near impossible. what you captured is the typical 1, 4 and 5 year old. your photos are what most people can relate to when trying to get there kids to cooperate for the perfect picture. Have a merry christmas.
