What I've been sewing

I love sewing.
I don't have time to sew.
I really don't.
But this week, I made it happen.
Leaving the sewing machine sitting on the kitchen table really helped keep me motivated.
It's nice having something to show for my week though.
I mean it shows.
It's obvious that I did something other than the laundry and dusting, and scrubbing toilets.

Tutorials are awesome, a good tutorial will get me every time. I follow several crafty, sewing blogs, but none compare to Cally's. Her blog consistently has easy to follow, great quality projects. I've made the diaper strap and love it, love it.
This tote was really fun to make and I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I followed the tutorial to the letter, except I used Elmer's Craft Bond instead of Quilt Basting Spray.

It's my first one, but there will be more to come. {after I get the laundry situation under control!}

I love it! What do you plan on using it for? I think you are becoming my Martha Stewart. :) You are organized and creative and make life look ever so refreshing!! I know it is not always that way, but love your perspective on things. Have a great day! Melissa

Miranda, I wish I could rock the sewing machine like that! Awesome! I have a sewing machine, all I'm lacking is the TALENT! haha

You need to market those diaper straps - I've already had compliments on it!!
