A bright today

Psalm 74:16
The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon.

I'm feeling a little better today. The sun is shining bright and I'm so thankful for this beautiful day. The kids played outside, it was so great to watch them run across the back yard. It's been a long time since they spent time outdoors in the sunshine.
Bethany made faces at herself, by watching her reflection in the backdoor. Joseph just ran around kicking his soccer ball. Jenna was in and out jabbering up a storm. She was really excited to be able to run around. I couldn't understand a word she said.
I'm still not fully recovered from the iron and lack of sleep, so we had a light day of school this morning. I found magnetic sight words at Target, Bethany likes to read them by color groups. Joesph and Bethany also colored the coloring pages on the fridge. I love these fun downloadable coloring pages from Joel Henriques. His style makes me happy, especially this piece. You can download the free coloring pages from his blog.
We made these cute critters, from Martha. We had chicken noodle soup for lunch.
And these for desert.
All these things came out of the mystery box that I found on the front porch yesterday. It is full of wrapped gifts. The kids and I are having so much fun opening them slowly. Bethany and Joseph ask constantly when they get to open another one.
I have a pretty good ideal who it came from and I know you read my blog, so thank-you. You are too sweet, this has blessed me and continues to be a blessing.

I didnt know you have been ill. Im so very sorry. With the amount of to-dos we have, motherhood already takes so much from us without being ill. Im lifting you up in prayer today~ I have also enjoyed reading back on your blog. Do to our flu bug I have not been on as much as I would have liked. Your post always make me smile:)Blessings to you!!! Catherine
