Bumpy week

We've been outside enjoying the sunshiny weather this weekend. I even have sunburn to prove it, I sat outside for 3 hours yesterday reading while the kids played. It was a nice break from the fast pace we've been keeping this week. I nearly killed myself Joe trying to get the house ready to list, and now it's back to looking lived in again and hasn't been shown once.Joe and Joseph spruced up the outside with some fresh mulch today. This was one of three things we had left on our to-do list for getting the house primed to sell. Joe was showering after finishing up the yard work and I was cooking supper. All the sudden I heard a drip, drip, drip. Apparently, we have a leaking tub now, so that has to be looked into this week.
I was tickled to get in some thrifting this morning, and find some good deals. My favorite find was a Zip-loc bag of thread. I nearly clobbered some poor man trying to get to it. He was standing in front of the thread closely checking out a radio, I think. I was so afraid he was going to grab the thread before I could get to it. I'm sure it was the farthest thing from his mind!I promised the kids a trip to the playground. Here they are in all their glory! It had been awhile since I'd tried to coax all three of them for a picture at once. I don't know why I even try anymore!
These next pictures make me laugh. And explain my week perfectly.

Life just keeps pulling me down.
My patience has been tested all week and I have failed over and over. From a toddler who has learned how to say no to everything, to a house that seems to be falling apart, and pure testing by fire, I really just want to go to bed and sleep all day tomorrow.

On a happy note, what happened to Kansas!?! There's no place like home, you're going home guys.

Sounds like you're had an adventurous week! I'd love to get my house ready for sale this spring. I hope you sell yours soon. I pray that next week will be a blessing to you and your little family.

Oh, the stress of getting a house ready (and keeping it that way) to show!

And I love your pix of the kids on the slide.
And the thread! Who knew it could be so beautiful? Which is why I want to give you this award:

I love the fact that joe and joseph are both working and they both have their tongues sicking out!
