Home is in view

We have a house {almost}. The mortgage company accepted our offer, we are just waiting on a signed contract from them. {Praying that it happens by Friday the 30th.}
The kids are really excited about the house and love it. Joseph loves that it is blue and that it has "twisty" stairs. I'm pretty happy to have a new house in our future too. The Lord is allowing things to fall into place for us to have a normal life again. It will be a month or longer, we will more than likely be moving twice and living with my parents for a couple weeks. . . But . . .there is an end in site and we have an address for our new home!
I'm dreaming of drapes, lots of drapes and curtains. This house has an enormous amount of windows, which I'm so excited about. I love natural lighting and it makes for such great pictures too. I went to sleep thinking about counter tops, faucets and light fixtures. The nice thing is the entire house has a fresh coat of paint, a clean slate. I am so thankful that we can paint a room here and there. I'm sure it will drag on, but I think it's better than having to paint every ceiling, wall and trim in a short time before we can move in. We did that with our current house and Joe and I, along with my parents, nearly killed ourselves.
I've been packing a little here and there, my mom and sister helped me out this week. One of the boxes next to my computer desk is filled with toys. A toy is repeatedly playing some annoying tune over and over at a high rate of speed. It's been going strong for 24 hours, I'm ready for the battery to die already!

Wonderful news!
My momma's favorite color is blue. So I'm drawn to all things blue, I think a blue house is perfect! :)
And windows...That's one of the upsides to this military housing, the windows are big, and they give so much light. Sunshine does wonders when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed... Which I do. Often. Nearly everyday. I'm not a morning person! :)

Anyway, sending prayers that things work out quickly, and in His time.

I am so happy for you. You have so much to look forward to. It is so much fun to be able to plan and decorate. It sounds just great and will happen soon enough for you.

Congratulations!! I'm so excited for you!

A new home (or any home, in general) is always a work in progress! Take your time to make it your own! We've been here 4 years now, and we're STILL working on it!

What a blessing!
