I need a t-shirt that says "I survived a 20 hour roadtrip!"

We spent a long weekend visiting with my brother, sister in law and niece.  It's about a 10 trip for us to visit them, so we don't get to hang out very often.  We left early Saturday morning, my sister went with us so she helped keep us from losing all sanity by entertaining the kiddos.
I wish I could say it was as quiet and peaceful as Joseph makes it appear, but we all know kids don't take 10 hour naps.  Actually, Bethany and Joseph both did wonderful with the long ride there and back, Jenna on the other hand struggled with being restrained for that long.
The last time we'd seen my brother and sister in law was when my niece, Mylee was born.  This was the first time Bethany, Joseph and Jenna got to see Mylee.  They were very excited about finally getting to hold her.  Seeing her restored the hours of our life the long car ride took off!

Nearly every time I took Mylee's picture, Jenna felt she ought to be in the picture too.  The whole time we were there Jenna would rub her head and say, "She soff!" as if she was petting a kitten.
The kids all had a blast at Uncle Nate and Aunt Erin's house.  They love Uncle Nate's Lego collection.  He took Bethany and Joseph fishing and they both caught their first fish, 2 a piece.   Aunt Erin took Bethany swimming and she had a great time jumping into the pool and swimming all around.  They even rode horses while we were there.  I don't have access to any pictures of their fishing trip, riding horses or swimming but believe me we are still hearing about it, and will continue to for months.
Mylee is one happy girl, she smiles ALL the time.  I'll forewarn you that I'm about to post a bunch of pictures of her cuteness.  I'm making up for lost time, plus she is so darn easy to photograph.

Despite how much she has grown in the past 4 months, she still has those sweet baby feet, loves to be snuggled and is very much a baby.  We all miss watching her grow on a more regular basis and spending time with her and her parents.  In ways she had grown more than I expected, but I was also a bit relieved that she is still so small.
We said good-bye til next time yesterday morning.  It was long ride home for me, I think I caught a stomach bug the night before we left and battled it out all the10 hour way home.  So far, there aren't signs of anyone else catching it, but it was more than pregnancy yuckies.

Thanks again for having us down Nathanael and Erin.  We miss you already, come see us soon!

Oh my goodness, she's gotten SO BIG!! She's such a cutie pie. Can't wait to see more pics and hear the kids' stories of the trip.
