October's light

I love fall.
The colors, the smells, the sounds, and the way the sunlight falls.  Except for when I'm driving!
I love the shadows the light casts.
I love the giggles these two make as they run and wrestle outside.  I'm shooing them out more often, since the weather is cooler.  Plus, I'm afraid they are going to knock the house down when they do this inside.  The house shakes and rumbles so much, I wonder what will happen when they are twice this size and there are four instead of three of them!
Jenna CANNOT go outside without getting covered in dirt.  She always looks like she has been eating it, maybe she does, I probably should keep an eye on that.  Last night, I went out and she was throwing dirt into the air conditioning unit, AS IT WAS RUNNING!  It blew dirt everywhere and she thought it was great when Joseph took off crying because he had dirt in his eyes.
We checked out this cute book from the library, weeks, and weeks, ago.  It's titled Red, Red, Red by Valeri Gorbachev.  It's due back the 27th, if you want to try and find it at our local library, if I don't renew it again {after the due date}.  Currently we have a $14 and some odd cents in overdue fines.  The nice librarian informed me when I called to renew last time that I would have to pay it down to $8 before we could check out anymore books.  It's doesn't take much to rack up overdue fees when we have 20 books checked out.  I doubt we'll change our ways though.
I've been doing this a lot, everything else is too exhausting.  Why is growing a baby so much work?

I love fall too. I love every season when it gets here then I'm excited for change. As I age I am not sure I will always love our Candian winters!

Rest and never feel guilty about it. In a few short weeks we get to finally meet your new son.

So awesome.

I had one little dirt magnet as well! You rest your tootsies as much as you can. The day will come when those moments will be rare!

Kids will be kids I always say. I find it a little funny why kids are so attracted to dirt? ;p
