Reason #1,746 Why I love my husband

1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
He stocked the fridge with Diet Coke. When he realized I only had one left, he went to the Dollar Store without even asking me.   I opened the refrigerator yesterday morning and grabbed a can that might as well have said I-Love-You.
The world defrauds us by telling us love looks, feels and presents itself a certain way.  These messages are so wrong, yet we buy into them and chase a kind of love that is completely counterfeit.  Only true loves grows with time, false love, generic love, crumbles sooner rather than later.
Sometimes love really is there all along and we just fail to see it. Over time even genuine love can be taken for granted, ignored and told it's not good enough.
Lately, I've been feeling incredibly unworthy of this love that selflessly gives, expecting nothing in return.  That is love in it's purest form and it's definitely a message I don't want to take for granted or let go unnoticed.

Joe pretty much rocks. I love Diet Coke as well :-). I know Kevin loves me when he brings popsicles to bed and lets me choose which flavor of the 2 in hand lol. Simple gesture, but means so much.
