A moment

I am not a morning person.  Joe will be the first to tell you.  It's one of my many down falls.  I'm a 9 o'clocker, in my dream world.  Or on the days Joe kindly lets me sleep in, which have been often lately.  But nothing wakes me up in a better mood than seeing this little boys face. Even if it's 2 AM.  The sun never shined so happily through my window.
As the sunlight cast across his face, my heart melts. Everyday for the past 24 days.
Mothering a 4th child is just as fun as mothering all the rest, maybe even better because each time I learn to live for today a little more.  I hold him more because I know how fast this time will pass, rather than worry that I am going to create a demanding child or mess up his schedule.  I'm all for schedules, if I have a baby who keeps one, but these days are too short to miss out on the moments all because of a schedule.

What a sweet little boy. I found your blog just looking at other blogs. Congrats on your new little man. We just had our 7th little girl in Sept of 2010 and we are also just in love with her.

Merry Christmas and have a blessed New Year!
