Hello Monday!

It's not even 10:30 AM and I'm already considering myself inadequate for the responsibility of teaching Bethany Rose.  Here is a run through of her questions thus far today,

"What are aphids?"  I knew what aphids are, kinda.  But what are they really, how do I explain them?  Google was my friend.  To which Bethany said, "Daddy says we need to get a dictionary for all the questions I ask."  "Yeah, because you ask so many good ones." I tried to not sound frustrated, because why should I be?

4 minutes later,
"If someone writes a book, how did they find that stuff out?  If they're the ones who wrote it, how did they learn about it?  Are they just really smart?"

15 minutes later,
"How do you spell tickle, is it T-I-C-K-L-E?"
"So, the E is silent?"
"Then why do they add it?"

8 minutes later,
"Who came up with words?"

3 minutes later,
"Are words spelled the same in Chinese, just with different writing?  Like "the", is it spelled the same in Chinese?"
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
~Dear Lord, help me give her all that she needs.  This task is too big, this responsibility far too great to manage alone.  I trust you, I mother and teach in faith that You will perfect what little I offer and supply all that she requires.  I can't do this on my own, in my own strength, in my own intelligence.  I feel like Moses when he asked You, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”  Who am I, God?  Help me, teach me.  Thank you for my beautiful little girl!  I love her so much, You did well when You created her for our family.
