A solid start

Brady is 6 months old today, so I felt like it was time for him to start solids last week.  He had been giving ques that he was ready.   Things like watching us eat and trying to get our food and he has been less content with exclusive nursing.
He was confused at first and wasn't impressed whatsoever.
Cereal was not a big hit, but the next night I gave him peas and he was thrilled!  He was happier than his daddy eating steak and potatoes!  He kept grabbing the spoon and pulling it to his mouth.  If I lingered too long between spoonfuls he began waving his arms and legs and making noise to get my attention.  It was very cute!  We are still on the rotation of peas, but he doesn't seem tiring of them yet.

How fun, it's great to see their reaction! (I am a long time follower, but I changed my screen name, I used to be Sarah B)

Maddie looked at this picture and said "Brady!" (well, it sounded more like "Bay-dee", but I think she knows her cousin! :)
