Our Christmas past

Hello blog stalkers! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Ours was great! Filled with so much fun and family and food, we have been enjoying extra time together with each other and family we don't get to see often. There is no way I could catch it all in pictures, or post about it all here, so I'm not even going to try. I was able to capture a few of many favorite moments so I'll share those and maybe get back to blogging more after the New Year when life gets back into routine and I don't have so much time to spend with my husband. After such a long absence from here, it's hard to catch up and that's okay, it's more important to live in the moments and make memories, not blog post.
Making Gingerbread cookies...

Jenna helping her cousin Mylee wash her hands...
Making the decision to cut 4 inches off Jenna's hair...
The kids drawing each others names and taking them shopping to buy their gifts for one another.  Bethany and Joseph wrapping their gifts to Brady and Jenna...

Christmas Eve morning...
Bethany opening her American Girl doll...

Joseph loving new Lego's and figuring things out...
Jenna, being goofy in every single picture and just bringing joy and silliness...
Brady hanging out and actually learning that every time a new box was opened there was something new to inspect and chew on...regardless if it was safe or not...
My kids getting to be with their cousins...
And very possibly my favorite moment...Bethany reading the Christmas story from The Jesus Storybook Bible...
And a very close second favorite moments, Bethany writing a play of the Christmas Story with parts for Joseph, Jenna, Joe and herself and my mom to narrate.  They acted it out three times over the days of Christmas...the third time, their cousin Selah played baby Jesus.
I'll be back sometime to share my favorite Christmas gift and a very fun gift I gave, but it'll have to wait for now.  Happy New Year 2012!  I can't believe 2011 is only hours from being over, it went by so quickly.  It was a really blessed and happy year for us and I know that 2012 will very special with Baby #5, or Little Monkey as I now call him/her, it seemed to be fitting since it's our fifth little monkey.
Thank you seem appropriate to say to all my readers, I was so blessed by many kind emails from you wishing us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I never expected to meet or make such friends from around the world when I started this, but you know who you are and I am grateful!!  Whether you comment or email or read and silently go elsewhere, thanks for coming here when you do!
