She's four weeks already!! Anne is opening her eyes and looking around more, especially in the morning and late evening. She belly laughed in her sleep on my chest the other day, so sweet. I'm glad she has happy dreams. She hasn't smiled at us yet, still looking forward to that.
She's a great little sleeper. I think she is about over her cold the kids shared with her, hopefully she can sleep in her crib again soon. I had a rough night of sleep with her recently due to her cold, so Joe took the next night with her and fed her a bottle so I could sleep all night!! He referred to it as taking her on her first date! Such a good daddy!!
There aren't many Brady-safe-zones in the house if he is awake, so she
spends lots of time in our arms, in my Balboa sling and on the kitchen
counter. Nothing is out of his reach if he sets his mind to it, he
climbed on top of the changing table, much to my disappointment,
yesterday. Our back door has a low cylinder on the storm door, he
figured out how to disassemble the whole thing and takes it off on a
continual, regular basis if the kids forget to shut the interior door. He must be teething, his naps have shortened majorly and he's been in a constant state of irritation. It finally dawned on me that it has to be his teeth. He has been a handful!!
I promised Jenna a cake if she took a nap, yes, I was that desperate! It worked, so now we're about to eat some pineapple upside-down cake. Okay, so maybe I wanted to make a cake anyway. :)
