Psalm 42:11
Why, my soul, are you downcast?
    Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
    my Savior and my God.

This has been the greatest day we have had together in a long time, so relaxing. I have loved having everyone home and life has calmed down a bit. The kids are feeling better, no fevers for a few days. The coughing is getting better and we ended all steroids today. Still have antibiotics and breathing treatments well through next week, but life is better.
Jenna, Brady and Anne all show signs of needing the breathing treatments still, so thankful for them. I just can't tell you how nice it is to have less fussy little ones and their appetites are coming back strong.
I am thankful for the simple things today, for the calm moments, for a full nights sleep, for having supper together, for having Joe home and able to enjoy it rather than rush through another day, for a haircut, for a warm house.
I am thankful for God's faithfulness to us, this world is so heavy on us all sometimes and it gets weary. God is so gracious and so constant, when I am faithless, He remains faithful. I have been leaning heavily upon Him and reminding myself that He can always be trusted and I am so grateful for His presence in this dark world and in my little life. When I fear I know I can trust Him. He is the light that brightens my heart.
This little munchkin brightens up our lives all day long, so thankful for all 5 of my kids.
Joe and Brady wrestling today. This boy is all boy and then some, he is a bundle of energy and spunk. He learned how to climb out of his bed this far it is only to get out at appropriate times, like after his nap. He loves his bed, love taking naps so I'm praying he'll continue to do so...fingers crossed.
Just a quick post to say life is better and that God is great! Happy weekend!
