Welcome 2013

Little-Miss-Annie-Pooh, that's what Jenna affectionately calls Anne. It's so cute to hear her say it, usually she calls her that when she is fussing and Jenna is trying to calm her or when Jenna feels sorry for her being sick.
This baby girl is really growing and packing on the chubbiness. We all just love her so and catch ourselves staring at her and telling each other how beautiful she is. Joseph said the other day that he is really glad she wasn't a boy. He's really glad she is Anne.
She is so kissable, all mushy and cuddly. She's eight months now but in many ways still very much baby-like. I know that might sound funny, but she is laid back and gladly accepts being a baby.
I took Jenna back to the doctor this morning and she is doing much better. The doctor said the pneumonia sounds like it's just in the bases of her lungs now, we are doing breathing treatments every 4 hours now, instead of 3. I took Anne and Brady back to so see the doctor too. The doctor said Anne sounded wheezy, although she sounded good on Saturday, and I'm starting her back on 3 days of steroids, plus continuing breathing treatments every 4 hours. Brady has still been running a fever, has little to no appetite and acted like his ears hurt really bad, even though he's been on an antibiotic since Monday. The doctor said his ears looked awful still, so he got a shot to help him get over this. His lungs sounded like Jenna's do now, although his were clear on Monday. He too is getting breathing treatments every 4 hours.
Our New Years was a tiring one, I was tempted to run the clocks up and announce it 2013 at about 10 o'clock. The 3 oldest had been eagerly awaiting New Years since about a week prior. Ever since we let them stay up late a couple of years ago they love ringing in the New Year.
We ended up having them all sleep in our room and we made a toast with Gatorade and Root Beer, I don't remember much about it now.
I am looking forward to 2013, eager to see what God is going to do in our family. We trust Him despite what we see. We know that He is faithful to meet our needs. We know that His plan for us is perfect and we believe that He is enough. God is good, His love endures forever. May our hearts burn within us, may our love for Him increase.
