Lil' Blessings Custom Growth Charts and Wooden Accents

These little babies grow into toddlers faster than I ever thought possible. Tiny infant toes change into fat baby feet and then suddenly giant stinky shoes are lost and strung all around the house. The growing slows after the first 3 years but it's crazy how quickly time still passes.
My soul purpose in blogging is to intentionally capture our life so that I can remember these vivid faces and voices in my daily life. Even the struggles and lessons woven tightly between the chaos and meltdowns. The peanut butter faces, the sticky fingers, the crumbs on the floor, the snuggling in close to catch a kiss from mommy and daddy, the sweet hands that pick dandelions and collect every. last. rock. on God's green earth. The long lashes, soft breathing and rosy cheeks of nap times, the favorite books and giggles. The made up lame jokes, the learning to ride a big wheel and then a bike, the competitions of who's the fastest, who can eat the most and who is the tallest. I know one day it will all be foggy bits and pieces and I'm all about taking pictures, writing down the details and finding ways to help me preserve these years for later.
I'm so excited to share with you my recent find! I had wanted a growth chart for years and when I saw this one, I knew it was perfect for us. This wooden growth chart is so sturdy, I'm happy to think of it being with us for years to come. The first time I measured the kids, Joseph was an inch taller then Bethany, this is a moment worth remembering for him!
Angela at Lil' Blessings Custom Growth Charts and Wood Accents makes all kinds of different finishes and designs. She accepts custom orders for painted wooden signs. My chart came with everything I needed to hang it on the wall, very simple yet easy. You will definitely want to go to her Facebook page and look at her various options. They ship right to your door too.
These would make the perfect gift for Christmas! I know, I would have been thrilled to get this for Christmas from the grandparents, so if you need ideas for either what to ask for or what to give, put it on your list. I know that this will be one of the few pieces that survives our house with 6 crazy kids and it's going to be a family heirloom one day. Maybe that's why I was so nervous writing on it the first time.
These are such a fun way to decorate, you are capturing milestones AND supporting a small business, at a great price! I hope you will be as excited as I am, that's why I had to share. Happy Christmas shopping friends!
