We had two snow storms come through last week. Joe had 3 snow days. Laynee has had so many snows since she was born but this was the first time I bundled her up and took her out. She kinda liked it. She hates shoes and all the shoes I have for her aren't good for 8 inches of snow anyway, so she went out with layers of socks on and no shoes.
The kids love playing in the snow. Don't let the pictures deceive you though, there was lots of whining over who couldn't find their gloves or shoes, endless whining for help going out. As soon as everyone was out it was 10 minute intervals of one after the other coming in again. Snow is so much work.
Joe shoveled the driveway and made a huge pile of snow for the kids to play on.
Joseph kindly threw snow at me as I took the picture.
We signed a contract to sell our house last week. It was a little bittersweet knowing this is likely our last snow hoorah at this house. Though we are happy to be moving, it's still the ending of the time here. The snow days were perfect timing because Joe was home to help me tackle some packing and detoxing. We are off to a good start.
I wanted to get a few quick pictures of the kids before church this morning. The snow was so bright, they are all squinting, but I love these pictures anyway.
